Since 1993 the Earthlings have specialized in shows for retirees.
They have performed over 2,600 of these shows at retirement
communities,
lodges, festivals, fairs, community centers, churches and hospitals.
Their shows feature songs from the turn of the century through the mid
1950’s
with an equal mix of up-beat “toe-tappers” and mellow “crooning tunes”.
Their selection of well-known and well-loved material and their use of
“old-fashioned”
instruments like the Banjo/Ukulele, Banjo/Guitar, the Musical Saw,
Spoons, & Musical Washboard serves as a
pleasant reminder of days gone by.
Earthlings' shows are interactive and include plenty of group
participation. Dancing and singing along are always welcome
and encouraged. Their relaxed,
conversational style creates
an instant rapport and their infectious rhythms and
memorable melodies never fail to charm an audience.
